A2 Milk: Easier to Digest. Naturally.

A single amino-acid difference sets A2 milk apart - and your body can feel it.

What Makes A2 Milk Different

A2 Milk Contains the Original Form of β-Casein

Milk contains several proteins, but digestion is most influenced by β-casein.
There are two main types:

• A1 β-casein
• A2 β-casein

A2 milk comes only from cows that naturally produce the A2 version.

THE ONE-AMINO-ACID CHANGE

A1 and A2 Are Identical Except at Position 67

β-casein is a chain of 209 amino acids. A1 and A2 differ in only one position: • A1 = histidine at position 67 • A2 = proline at position 67 This tiny shift changes the way the protein behaves during digestion.

DIGESTION IMPACT

A1 Can Release BCM-7. A2 Doesn’t.

As A1 β-casein breaks down, it can release a peptide called BCM-7, which some people struggle to process.
This often leads to:

• bloating
• cramping
• digestive discomfort
• symptoms that mimic lactose intolerance

A2 β-casein holds its structure more firmly, producing far less BCM-7, resulting in smoother digestion for many people.

WHY A2 FEELS BETTER

Gentler on the Gut for Many People

A surprising number of consumers who believe they’re lactose intolerant are reacting to A1 protein, not lactose itself.

A2 milk removes that trigger.

Benefits (use icons):
• Smoother digestion
• Fewer discomfort symptoms
• Maintains a natural, ancestral protein profile
• Often better tolerated by adults

A1 VS A2 COMPARED

A1 vs A2: The Clear Difference

 FAQ

Q1: Is A2 milk lactose-free?No. It contains normal lactose but many people who think they're lactose intolerant tolerate A2 well.

Q2: Do the cows need special treatment? No. A2/A2 cows are naturally occurring. They simply have the A2 gene.

Q3: Does A2 taste different? No. It tastes like fresh milk — the difference is in digestion.

Q4: Is the science solid? There’s clear biochemical evidence for the A1/A2 difference. Human clinical studies increasingly support improved digestion with A2.
